On behalf of the Biophysical Society of R.O.C. (Taiwan), I am delighted to welcome you to the milestone 30th Biophysics Conference, which will take place at the International Conference Hall, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), in Taichung, Taiwan, from May 13 to 15, 2026.
National Chung Hsing University stands as a premier hub for life sciences, biotechnology, and agricultural research. Our local host, the College of Life Sciences, together with the Biotechnology Center, provides an exceptional academic and translational research environment that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, cutting-edge biotechnology development, and pioneering innovation. As we gather in the vibrant city of Taichung, we invite you to immerse yourselves in this dynamic research community and explore new opportunities for scientific synergy and advancement in biophysics and biotechnology.
This year’s conference marks three decades of excellence and features several exceptional highlights. We are honored to present the Felicia Chen-Wu Memorial Lecture, as well as the Taiwan-Japan Joint Sessions focusing on advanced microscopy Technologies, along with a distinguished lineup of world-class speakers who will share the latest scientific insights. The scientific program spans a wide spectrum of topics—the structures and functions of enzymes, protein-protein interactions: assemblies and dynamics, time-resolved analyses of biomacromolecules to glycan biosynthesis and recognition, disordered/misfolded proteins, the biophysics of living and active matters, and the rapidly evolving field of AI-driven and computational protein science. A session on disease targets and drug discovery will further highlight the clinical relevance of biophysical research.
We are also excited to highlight the next generation of scientists through student oral and poster presentations, providing a prestigious platform for young talents to showcase their work.
